Outxplore

Online Peer-to-Peer marketplace, for hosting outdoor activities. The app features listings of outdoor experiences. Some of the activities that can be found in the app are hiking, rafting, canoeing, mountain biking and many more. Users can browse through the listings and add any of them to their wishlist - (Wishlist - TODO). The app is connected to a Rails API.

Twitter Redesign

Desktop Web App built with Ruby on Rails with the core features of Twitter implemented - tweets and followings. The app also features profile image and cover image upload, using an AWS S3 bucket for storage.

Bookstore CMS built with React and Redux. The app is connected with a Rails API, which features user authentication using JWT. Through the app users can add/remove books, and sort them by category.

Movie Catalogue

Web App built with React and Redux. Users can choose movies from the list of the most popular movies for that day, or search for any movie through the search bar. On the movie details page users can view the trailer for that movie. All of the data is served from the TMDB API.

ABOUT ME

I have a growth mindset. I always want to learn and challenge myself. That's why I followed my interest in technology and became a software developer.

I worked as a machinist for two years. And, at that time I decided to switch careers and become a software developer. For one year I studied Web Development in my free time after work. Then, in September of 2019, I quit my job and enrolled in Microverse - Full-time remote school for software developers.

Over the last 6 months, I've improved my skills in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, HTML/CSS, SQL, and many more. So far I've completed 30+ projects. Daily improving my skills in solving coding challenges, algorithms, and learning data structures.
